Geometrical Concepts/Pythagorean Theorem: Medium

The key is to recognize that the two semicircles could be combined to form one complete circle with half the diameter of the larger circle.  Since the circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter, half the diameter is half the circumference.  Therefore, the curved path length from X to Z is equal to half the circumference of the big circle or simply 10.
